CSETÉNY-Bus4Life
It is a week now that we are back from the little village of 2000 people.
The Bus4Life has arrived this morning too.
It was a mixed time for the Finnish driver but a very good weekend for us. As we mentioned we could only join for the beginning but those days were blessing for our family-thanks God. A girl from the Bus4Life training also came for a day to help. This was her firs time to serve with us and the pastor was glad to receive more help.
THE 2 BOYS
Right at the beginning 2 boys „got hooked” and they ended up spending the whole day and then the whole week with us and the bus. After their first day they promised to come to the church service next day but did not show up. Or… Tamas was preaching and the front door was taken off and in the middle of the service he had seen the boys passing by. The pastor left for going after them and we figured out they were too shy to come in alone but they came with him. At the end they came to the next Sunday service too. On Sunday they mentioned that they had been much calmer and peaceful on the previous day spending with us than before (ever?). God touched them somehow. One of them had said he wanted to turn to God. But they do not understand many things and the human attraction is also there. They stayed faithfully, sometime a third friend came as well. They would like to join to the bus sometime as volunteers and also come to the Balaton-NET (a big Evangelical week with teachings, preachings, mission expo and evangelism in the evenings too). Looking forward seeing them there and talk more and try to give what Christ would like to give them. Please, pray for IMI, PETI and ANTI.
Other great thing was to get to know the local Baptist people, being guests in a great family’s home, time of fellowship, seeing their servant heart, getting to know the pastor, praying together, meeting the local Pentecostal church’s pastor and his family, sharing the week program with them and so much more. We see a great opportunity to work together and prepare more programs for next year with them all and the 2 other churches in the nearby town. What a „loud voice for Christ” could come out of the ministry together! Please, pray for continuing the ministry together, putting the powers of the 4 little churches together for a BIG work for the Lord.
