FACTS and EVENTS and NO PHOTOES – for those who are interested about us.
Briefly and not mentioning the details and all the difficulties, complications etc.: I was in hospital with hyperemesis but had many hard days before. Tamas had to help me to keep Tabi for some time when I was simply unable. But by the following week we lost the baby. This was our second loss within half a year. But there is no more to tell about this so do not ask! Also my mother happened to be left out of this second time and we would appreciate if you did not mention these things in front of her if you are getting in touch with her sometime. It is hard to see her reactions since they are often too emotional and it does not help at all. But she herself wants to help otherwise and is a help for us around Tabi when she visits and that is great. Meanwhile Tamas had a month of tonsillitis that did not respond even to antibiotic and at the end was advised to tonsillectomy. We are in the process of trying to organize it in Szeged.
We celebrated Tamas’s 30th birthday. Tabi messed up her regular sleeps and I had great headache how to make all the sandwiches and finger food in secret now (wanted in her sleep time in the late afternoon). And I still thought it would be a surprise for Tamas but: the party was to be surprise till someone who was invited asked him about his garden party-of course. Also just by the time people arrived a big storm hit us and we had to jam into our kitchen (with a dining and a „living room” corner) but thanks God by the end of eating it cleared up and the kids could go out before turning the whole place upside down. At the end of the day I gave thanks for all and asked for forgiveness of being angry with Tabi.
We was to go to Szeged for 4-5 days but our car had not started the previous afternoon. It was very hot. Our mechanic was nice and checked it and said it’s too long time to fix it so better do it when we come back if we really needed to go. We needed. But we could always push it to start. Next early morning when it was not hot we managed to start it without push. So we went to Szeged for family celebration. Before that Tamas’s father was in hospital and had surgery for breaking his arm into pieces while working in the garden – he was out by this week but much work was left for Tamas’s mom. We tried to help a little. And my mother came over to watch Tabi and was good help for us.
At the same time we wanted to put our little but „home feeling” flat for sale. We have advertised it for 1-2 months but no buyer yet. Just when we moved out all the rest of our belongings we needed, got a phone call that the neighbor’s flat is wet and we needed to fix one of our pipes. It could be repaired earliest the following week when Tamas was to be back so we decided to split into 2 teams. Tabi and me were the Szeged team and Tamas the Erd team. He had more time for God this way and for work and ideas. So that's it. And since that we had the English camp in Szarvas in 2 weeks time and Tabi is a very bad traveler, so at half time we moved straight to Szarvas and Tamas followed us. Meanwhile a buyer came who is interested in our flat. After several phone calls the deal was made, we had to wait only for signing the contract. And at the end we seemed to sign the contract soon so we stayed there and Tamas left us again. This way the 5 days became 5 weeks before returning home. But we are here now and on Saturday head to a village for 3 days to join the Bus4Life mission.
God willing we will sign the contract next Tuesday – please pray for it. Thanks.
We are sad in a way for it was a real peace-island for us. We sense that it is a new start for us and not to go back to Szeged. Long to be in ministry for all life and also have a house with a garden rather than a flat on the 4th floor. Tabi loves and loves to wonder outside. She says: "fa" (that is tree in Hungarian - one of her first real words to communicate her wishes to us when she would like to go out.). But a house is too expensive – so we think we will try to move more out of this area - to a village not too far. That is a road we might be able to take. Please, pray for the good selling of our flat and finding the suitable one in the suitable village where God wants to see us (we hope).
