Last week

We had the team retreat last weekend, actually the days before last week. But never mind, it was lately. We had a very busy weekend. After the first day of treasure hunt and play and worship and listening to God's Word in a beautiful garden of a castle nearby - the great challenge came : the "bogracs" cooking. With a help of his father, Tamas managed to make a wonderful meal for us. It seemed to be not enough after the first 3 family had almost finished half of the huge pot's content but by the end everyone had enough and we had 3 big bowls left (does it remind you of a story from the Bible?). Forgot to take photo of the great event but here is the big dish we use in Hungary!

We were all thankful. Meanwhile Tabi was with me on the fair and we managed to get some things we really needed very cheap (a child seat for bike, a helmet for her, a little plastic motor for playing out, a portable child feeding seat, some Christian CD-s and some others)-we were thankful for managing all in a morning. The rest of the team went up to Buda mountain's with the children's train but our family was exhausted so we stayed. And we cleansed up a little bit as well. At the close of the retreat we came together for communion.

We extended our stay in the OM house for rest and because Tabi enjoyed the new place and could play alone quite well there. And a week later stayed again for the Bus4Life training took place there and that was the easy way for all of us to be here and take care of Tabi as well.
As usually happens out of the 10 participants 5 (first 6) cancelled when final checking was written to them. But God brought others and it was encouraging to see the young lives who wanted to give more to God that Summer through OM. We had a very good weekend of learning, fellowship and getting excited. Tabi enjoyed it too. Wondering why mostly girls are there to go? I hear it from other mission fields and areas as well, often women and just a few man.
WHY? WHERE ARE THE MEN? ARE THEY REALLY SO SCHEDULED THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME? OR GOD IS NOT TOUCHING THEM? OR THERE ARE OTHER REASONS???

BUT THANKS GOD THERE ARE SOME. PRAY FOR MORE! NOT ONLY GOD NEEDS THEM BUT WE - WOMEN TOO.
