Celebrations 2009

Tabita’s Name day, Wedding Anniversary and Mother’s Day is over now.
- Wedding Anniversary: I almost forgot to take photoe. About the celebration you can read in our latest newsletter on the left hand side.

-Name day: we understand that not everywhere exists. In Hungary all names have one or more days throughout the year that is marked in the calendars and on one of those days you can celebrate. It is a good reason for children to receive gifts (or money) but in the socialist times it was a day when everyone knew you would celebrate (colleagues do not know each other’s birthdays). So most of the time the ones whose name days were close or the same day had decided in what to do together – bring different cookies or drinks. And they had received flower or sg. else.
Our little girl is not too small any more to understand that she gets a gift and it is 'her day'. And people still ask about her name, whether it is in the calendar at all. We gladly drive their attention to the meaning of her name that is written in the Bible and ask if they have one or not. If they have Bible than no way I would tell the meaning - just look it up and find it for yourself in Acts 9 v 36-. More help might come how to find it.
That has happened lately in the child care place with the teacher.

-For Mother’s day Tabi had made girt in Sunday school (where she loves to go and stay there without us). She made gift for both grandmaders. She even wanted to prepareone for
asked her where she arrived from to us. She said: "Well, well ... from my armchair. And than I asked why is she in our family, why did she arrive
to us. She replied: "Well, so that you would love me." She is so so sweet lately we admire how God can create such a beauty in her and form her so tremendesly within 2.5 years. We give thanks to Him. She often tells us now: I love you so much – what is a great joy to hear from her.
How much more God rejoices when we say that to Him!
